Goodbye Barcelona!
The verdict is in. Barcelona moves to the top of the list as “my kinda city”. It definitely takes the prize for my interest, for many reasons. I’ll be back for sure. That said, Italy was no slouch. I’ll be back and ready to experience the nightlife, something I did not get a chance to do.
Barcelona yielded quite a few adventures, a great mix of people and a friendly face from back home. It was definitely a nice break from the “sight seeing only” routine.
I met 1 guy from Chicago (Logan’s Square). A guy from Israel who will be visiting his family in Chicago. We’ll probably reconnect once I’m back. A random guy from Amsterdam, who has offered to show me around when I arrive. A crazy Scotsman who I will visit when I’m in that area and finally a super nice lady from Canada who has literally traveled the world in the most adventuresome way. It was definitely a group of fun.
I’m getting on a train tonight and headed towards France. Where will the next week take me?
