A rainy Paris welcomes Chris
From the train ride to getting to my new residence for the next week, everything went off without a hitch. Huh? I don’t understand LOL.
I arrived on my last “sleeper car” train. My overnight bunk mates were 2 older French guys and 1 younger Korean guy. The language chat was all over the place. LOL
It’s rainy and a bit chilly. Fall is definitely around the corner. Since I left with summer clothing and jeans I figured I better buy a jacket and/or some long sleeve items. LUCKILY I DID.
I’m not sure, but the Hostel/Hotel people never give the best directions. This time I was ready. :) I did a little pre-research before I left Barcelona and made it. One irony is that the train station I needed to get to was the ORIGINAL train station I had my first “almost missed” train experience.
Anyway, this hostel definitely seems like it is very well put together. I think I picked another winner. :) All that review research seems to be paying off.
Right now, everyone is waiting to check in. I’m catching my breath before I start exploring. I’m pretty sure I will enjoy Paris as well as France. I’ll be taking a lot more day trips than I have in the past. Belgium has been added to the list.
And we are off.
